STUDIO GUIDELINES

CLOSED DOOR POLICY
In line with our "safe space mandate" - in which each student may come to class and freely participate in an environment where mistakes are accepted - FootNotes Dance Academy has a closed door policy. Parents will not be permitted into the dance area.

DROP OFF AND PICK UP POLICIES
Students must arrive 10 minutes before the start of class. This will allow time for students to prepare for class. There is no supervision of students after classes are finished. Parents are reminded to be punctual to pick up the students.

NO’S OF DANCING

NO gum in facility

NO food or drinks in facility (water only)

NO street shoes in facility

MANDATORY STUDIO DRESS CODE
All students must wear appropriate dance attire which consists of black dance bodysuit, tights and appropriate shoes. No jewelry is to be worn and hair must be pulled back off of face. Dresscode will be assigned upon registration. Full Dresscode list can be found on REGISTRATION page of website.

Students may be asked to sit out if consistently out of dress code. Students will be assigned dress code at registration. Your cooperation is appreciated.

ANNUAL RECITAL

FootNotes Dance Academy holds its annual recital on a Saturday in June. Each dancer is required to participate. Particpating involves purchasing costume through school, attending dress rehearsal week of recital and attending recital. This is a fun day for all involved. Detailed information including show times, ticket sales and venue details will be provided to parents.
